Gatherings
Inner Ground enjoys offering workshops, formation circles, and retreats. We host both in-person and online gatherings, seeking to provide myriad opportunities for folks to join in community as we tend our spiritual lives. Some of our gatherings are free and others have a fee. Through the generosity of our donors, we are able to offer scholarships for all of our paid offerings. If you are interested in obtaining a full or partial scholarship for one of our upcoming events, please reach out to us via email - 2innerground@gmail.com
We invite you to subscribe to our newsletter where you’ll find all the details about our current offerings.
Please enjoy these free resources as a gift to support your inner journey.

Our monthly Singing Circle is a fun and nourishing gathering. We learn and sing paperless short songs in the ancient oral tradition. Singing is an embodied practice that offers deep connection with others and ourselves. It’s an opportunity to gather up some joy, courage and hope for the living of these day.
We meet in the chapel at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Greensboro.
Let us know that you plan to attend by filling out the form at the link below.
Join our Morning Prayer gathering, each Monday at 8 AM (EST). Come as you are. Come weekly. Pop-in on occasion. Sink into this space for communal prayer. We'll engage a variety of prayer practices during our gatherings - all of them invitations to pause and rest in the Presence of the Loving One. Send us an email to receive the Zoom link - 2innerground@gmail.com.
Summer Reading Circle
One Breath at a Time
by J. Dana Trent
If you are curious about meditation, or have tried it in the past and struggled to maintain a practice, this book offers practical guidance including Trent’s encouragement that we begin with just 3 minutes at a time.
She writes,
Meditation practice is not another to-do to add to our daily lists but a way of life. … This new way of life doesn’t require a total upheaval, remodel, or demolition. It simply starts with a beginner’s mind and a longing to connect with God, one breath at a time.
Using five approaches--breath meditation, lectio divina, centering meditation, loving-kindness meditation, and devotional meditation--One Breath at a Time provides a practical, 40-day guide to beginning and sustaining a Christian meditation practice in an often chaotic world. We invite you to read and practice with us this summer.
