Dreamwork as a Spiritual Practice
Three Online Zoom sessions: Tuesday, Jan. 27, Feb. 3, Feb. 10 from 2:00-3:30.
What are your nightly dreams saying to you? How might you harness the sumbols, stories, and wisdom of your dreams to discover new truths about yourself and your own spiritual journey? This workshop will introduce the basics of Car Jung’s theories about dreams and their relationshup to our psyche, unconscious, and personal growth. The three sessions will give you specific tools and examples to help you begin to understand your dreams and access their wisdom.
We welcome Mary McLean Hix, certified Dream Work facilitator, who will guide our exploration of dreams. Mary began recounting vivid dreams as a child at the family breakfast table in Florida. Dreams entertained her during her days at Wake Forest University, where she earned a BA and MA in English. Many years later, she was delighted to be introduced to dream work and Dream Groups at Knollwood Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. A couple of big dreams compelled her to seek more in-depth training in dreams through Haden Institute, which educates its participants on Jungian psychology and spirituality to facilitate inner wisdom and wholeness. The two-year Dream Work program certified her to do both individual and group dream work.
Space available for 12 participants, with a minimum of 4.
Partial and full scholarships are available. If your participation in this workshop would be possible with a scholarship, please email us at 2innergound@gmail.com and we’ll complete your registration.
