Join us at the beautiful North Carolina coast for a weekend of rest, prayer and spiritual growth. In this retreat, we’ll probe a selection of Rilke’s writings from his poems and letters, exploreing what he called “heart-work.” Our approach will welcome newcomers to Rilke’s poetry as well as those more familiar with his writings.Our guide for the weekend is Dr. Mark Burrows. Mark is a prize-winning poet and translator and stands as one of the leading interpreters and translators of Rilke’s poetry today. His interest in spirituality and his ability to open poems as spaces of discovery are what characterize his retreats as transformative events.
The tranquil Trinity Center in Pine Knoll Shores, NC will be our weekend home. Your shared room has a double and twin bed. Linens and towels are provided. Six meals, Friday dinner through Sunday lunch, are included in your weekend stay.
Shared Room, 2 nights with 6 meals, and retreat leadership - $475 (per person). At checkout, please include the name of the person sharing the room with you.
$200 deposit due at registration. Balance of $275 due February 24, 2027. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
